
Bríd Ní Rinn
Bríd is an Irish Contemporary Post- War Artist, specializing in sculpture. She trained for five years at the National (later Royal) College of Art, Kildare Street, Dublin, before spending a year in Florence mastering stone-carving.
Her career has been largely dedicated to commissioned works for Catholic churches across Ireland, with select public sculptures also to her name. Notably, she created the crucifix on the former St. Dominic’s Church in Athy, Kildare. In addition to sculpture, she works in watercolours and printmaking, continuing to explore new artistic mediums.
