Born in Paris, Marine Comperatore Kearney is a French/Irish artist based in Clonmel, Tipperary. Ireland. Marine’s style is a fusion of soul abstraction and contemporary realism across various media.

She is a graduate of advanced life drawing from the Crawford Art College in 2019 and joined the Creative Vision Program with Nicolas Wilton from 2021 up to 2024. 

Marine describes her work as a mixture of the urban and the natural. Living in Knocklofty since 2004, where it is possible to experience 3 or 4 seasons in the one day, her paintings draw on this constantly evolving and changing landscape and how it affects her.

‘I create art that deeply resonates with me; the essence of my paintings reflects my personal story. As I complete each piece, I find myself revisiting childhood memories, evoking moments of joy and a sense of movement. It captures my happy place, nestled between the urban landscape and the countryside.
