Originally from Clones, Co. Monaghan, Nóirín is now living and working from her studio in Bray, Co.Wicklow. She works mainly in oils and watercolour. Living in the ‘Garden of Ireland’ gives her the perfect opportunity to paint ‘en plein air’ where she can immerse herself in the natural world at its best. One cannot capture on camera what you see in front of you when painting outdoors. A painting should be inviting to the viewer, where they are taken on a journey of interest. The main objective of my painting is to have good composition, perspective, tone and colour.
