Róisín O Doherty is a Kildare based printed textile designer/artist. She began her studies at the Grennan Mill Art and Craft College and was awarded a distinction. She then continued her studies at the National College of Art and Design graduating in 2005 with a first class honors degree in printed textile design.

Róisín has sold work to both private and corporate clients which include RTE and the OPW. She has completed commission work for architects and interior designers and featured in Life magazine, Image and Image Interiors. Through her freelance work as a printed textile designer for fashion, she sold prints to many high end fashion labels.

Digital designs and photography printed on silk gives Róisíns art a very unique quality. While her mixed media art allows more expression of textures and layering of colours and shapes.
