I'm an artist living in Killarney in the south west of Ireland and my artwork is inspired by the countryside around where I live. I almost always work in oils in an abstract impressionist style. I have always lived in the countryside so flowers and hedgerow are an integral part of my paintings and are a good subject to explore abstract and impressionist styles in an intuitive way. I love abstract flowers paintings in a kitchen because they bring the outside in. I also paint impressionist Seascapes as where I live near the coast is always inspiring. I am always taking photographs and they become a starting point for a painting. I hope you enjoy my art!
