"Brigid through history has been depicted in so many ways.  She is represented somewhere between goddess and Icon but who was at heart,  a person.  My representation of Brigid has set out to highlight this.  A young woman whose fundamentals were grace and kindness.  Full of hope for the future.

Set in an Irish landscape, frost on the hillside with snowdrops ushering in the first sign of Spring.  The little wren accompanying her through determination, change and happiness.

The perpetual flame burns as a beacon of hope. Brigid is in all of us!"
